The Years of Terror: Kulin and Colonists at Port Phillip, 1835-1851 meticulously details the exile of the Kulin clans from Melbourne by La Trobe, and the near genocide of the Boonwurrung and Wurundjeri clans in these first years of the colony. Written in association with Boonwurrung Elder, Aunty Fay Stewart-Muir. The Years of Terror provides a new history of colonisation at Port Phillip, bringing the focus to bear on those who were violently dispossessed of lands and waters, theirs from time immemorial.
